We are pleased to announce that we have exceeded our target booking plan by almost 7% for the first half of 2018 with multiple major awards from around the region. We are also glad to announce extending our reach to new markets including Egypt and new applications related to natural gas processing, storage, and transportation, in addition to our traditional utility and infrastructure Automation business. The prospects for the second half looks as promising, and we are forecasting to exceed our 2018 booking target.

Below is a list of the major new awards:

  1. Liquid Bulk Terminal, El Sokhna Port, Egypt : Vista Automation was awarded the contract to design, supply, program, manufacturing, and commissioning of the control system and the integration of Bentley Nevada Vibration Monitoring System for the Boil Off Gas (BOG) Liquification and Refrigeration Packages for BASIN 3 Liquid Bulk Terminal, Sokhna Port, Egypt. Vista Automation will be providing a total of 4 Redundant PLC systems controlling 20 Gas compressors with 10 Bentley Nevada 3500 Racks, all will be integrated with the main DCS system. The project will ship by September 2018 and will be commissioned by the end of December 2018.
  2. Central Utility Complex 1, Neom City, KSA: Vista Automation was awarded the contract to design, supply, programming, manufacturing, and commissioning of the Control for the first utility complex at Neom project in KSA. The control system is based on DCS (Distributed Control System) solution with redundancy on the controller, communication, and visualization in addition to historical data archiving and reporting. This is a fast track project that is expected to be commissioned by mid-July 2018.
  3. Dubai South Water Distributin Network: Vista Automation was awarded the contract to design, supply, programming, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of the Control system for the water distribution network at Dubai south project. The project is based on multiple RTU system integrated with central SCADA system. The project will ship by August 2018 and will be commissioned by October 2018.
  4. Education City Tram Central SCADA: Siemens Transportation Projects Team has selected Vista Automation to design, supply, install, commission, and integrate the SCADA system for the HVAC system for the Education City Tram Stations based on Siemens redundant SCADA, Historian and Reporting. The SCADA system will provide the control and monitoring functionality of the HVAC for 27 tram stations. The project will ship by August 2018 and will be commissioned by December 2018.
  5. Jabal Ali Sewage Treatment Plant Phase 2 Condition Monitoring System: Vista Automation was awarded the contract to design, supply, programming, manufacturing, and commissioning of the Condition Monitoring System based Rockwell Automation Dynamix Platform. The solution is designed based on API & ISO standards and will provide vibration and temperature monitoring and protection for major rotating equipment.
