Vista is awarded the contract to Design, Supply, Supervision of Installation, and Commissioning for the Instrumentation, Controls, and SCADA System for Madina Hajj City Infrastructure and Utilities Project. The scope of work covers the instrumentation and control system for the city infrastructure including:

  1. Two District Cooling Plants with a capacity of 110,000 Tons each
  2. 103 Energy Transfer Stations
  3. Tunnel Ventilation System
  4. Irrigation Pumping Stations
  5. Grey Water Pumping Stations
  6. Water Features Pumping Stations
  7. Central Command & Control Center

The Project will provide a dedicated redundant PLC system and a redundant client-server SCADA system for each District Cooling plant with redundant Historian for data logging and reporting of process critical parameters; in addition to Central redundant client-server SCADA system for the Command and Control Center for the whole city utilities and infrastructure with central redundant database Historian and reporting.

The Controls and SCADA solution is based on latest technologies form Rockwell Automation hardware and software with Endress+Hauser instrumentation.

The project is scheduled to be delivered to site by September 2016 and commissioned by March 2017.
